Why Calcium
CALCIUM plays a very important role in the body. Bones are made from collagen and non collagen proteins and they are fortified with CALCIUM. If there is not enough intake of CALCIUM the body extracts CALCIUM from bones, resulting in the loss of bone strength and mass. This can ultimately lead to thin fragile bones and osteoporosis. It is also necessary for normal functioning of nerves, cells, muscle and bone.
Daily Recommendations

CALCIUM OROTATE: - Orotate molecules are the most efficient carriers of CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM, LITHIUM and other ions in the body Orotates can cross the cell membrane, delivering the mineral ion to the inner most layers of the cell, reaching the mitochondria and nucleus.
CALCIUM OROTATE includes CALCIUM molecule bonded to two molecules of orotic acid. The orotate protects the CALCIUM from stomach acid, allowing the molecule to remain intact until it reaches the intestine. In the gut the CALCIUM enters the blood stream where it can be effectively delivered where it is most needed, such as bone and other tissues. In this form 90 to 95% of CALCIUM gets absorbed by the body.
CALCIUM CARBONATE: It is the most common CALCIUM Supplements. It supplies more elemental CALCIUM per tablet than other forms and is usually the best value. Its absorption is poor but VITAMIN D3 increases the absorption of CALCIUM from intestine
VITAMIN D 3 : It increases the absorption of CALCIUM and PROSPHORUS in intestine.
MAGNESIUM : It converts VITAMIN D 3 into its active form so that it can help CALCIUM and PROSPHORUS absorption.
PHOSPHORUS : It works with CALCIUM to help build bones. It also plays an important role in nucleic acid and cell membranes.
